FGE Food & Nutrition Team is contracted by agencies, organizations, educational institutions and communities with government funded food programs and an interest in food systems and health. Some areas of focus include child and family nutrition (e.g. Head Start), anti-poverty and hunger initiatives, food access and a special clinical focus on sensory disorders. Fern identifies barriers, solutions and support institutional and personal change. This is achieved through strategic planning, management support, policy, programs, counseling, education and public speaking.
